How does the Carnivore way of eating help reverse insulin resistance?

The Carnivore way of eating is a type of very-low carbohydrate ketogenic diet (VLKD) that leans completely on the consumption of animal meat and by-products such as eggs and dairy. VLKD has dramatic effects on improving insulin sensitivity (i.e. reversing insulin resistance) as shown in multiple scientific studies which are presented in the 17-week Intensive.

This way of eating also reduces inflammatory conditions that are both contributing to and the result of insulin resistance.

Finally, the Carnivore way of eating does not restrict calories nor force you to spend time tracking or recording what you eat. It is ideal for individuals who are interested in reversing insulin resistance and reducing and/or eliminating medications that they may be taking because of it.

What if I'm already following a Carnivore way of eating?

If you are already a "Carnivore", yet have not yet reversed your insulin resistance, we will be revealing all the other lifestyle modifications that have been shown to further help you on your journey.  This includes when to eat, how to better regulate your endocrine system (hormones), and your Circadian Rhythm... all of which contribute to both the problem of and the solution to your insulin resistance.  

In addition, you will be in a community of others who are discovering how to leverage the Carnivore way of eating to reverse insulin resistance.  

In addition to weekly "pre-recorded" topics for you to watch, you will have a 24/7 online forum of members and a weekly live teleconference to pose your questions, interact with one another and fine tune your journey.  You will not be alone in your quest for more knowledge and confidence toward your goals.

What about if I am on medications such as insulin?

Getting your insulin from resistance to sensitive is a process.  If you are on insulin and/or medications that lower blood sugars (such as sulfonylureas, metformin, etc.) we will be coaching you to minimize hypoglycemia (low blood sugar episodes) and provide plenty of opportunities to you to work with your physician or healthcare provider to modify, reduce, or even eliminate these medications.  This program is educational and informational and is NOT a substitute for the medical-decision-making between you and your doctor.
